I use a 2L water bag with snacks, hanky for sweat when hiking. Very light and comfortable pack!!

Very happy with the vest. It’s light weight, has a ton of pockets and fits me well (5’10”, 39″ Chest, Male). The zippered pocket is too small for any of today’s premium phones, but I have found that using one of the soft water bottle mesh pouches with an elastic drawstring on it works perfect for holding my phone. I am able to get it in an out of the pocket easily w/o fearing that it might fall out.
I got the model with the hydration pack and it is not the greatest with 2 things really holding it back:
1) Resealing the bag after filling it up is a pain. The plastic is thin and wants to bunch when trying to pass it through the channel of slide closer (that’s probably not the right name for it).
2) The valve is terrible. In order to get water to pass through you have to slide the valve up and it is not the easiest thing to tell if you have while running (and even when not). Then the soft plastic nipple like part is difficult to use as well. I cut the old one off and put in a bite valve from my Osprey hydration pack and it is so much better. no need to spend loads of money on one of these. this one works perfectly for a long distance run. I found it comfortable and it fit my body perfectly. It’s adjustable in the right areas. Lots of pockets for all your goodies and run essentials. The color is also bright and it comes with a safety whistle which as a woman, is handy!

Der Lauf-Rucksack ist für den Preis viel besser als erwartet. Die kleinen Taschen vorne passen genau für Handy und ein Ladegerät. Die hintere Tasche ist zweigeteilt, für Geld/Ausweis und eine Trinkflasche. Die Farbe ist kräftig und das Material weich und anschmiegsam, die Nähte sehen gut aus. Seitlich und vorne wie erwartet verstellbare Gurte, alles gut durchdacht. Sehr Positiv.

Vest works really well , my phone is a little big but as long as I take the cover off it fits in the zipper pocket. Very comfy vest.
I bought the bladder which I’ll admit was annoying while running as it sloshed around so I bought the two 250 ml software bottles and they work great.

Effective running vest, but does not fit a 5L. It only fits my 1.5 L, not even a 3L. Very compact and lightweight.
