Out of 6, 3 had dead batteries. The inner piece slides out and batteries easily replaced. Reason for 4 star. Not a huge deal when paying 2-3$ each. If being sold for more $$ then this definitely would not be acceptable and I noticed price almost doubled since i purchased these. Circuitry is also pretty exposed and looks delicate so don’t expect theses to hold up to any water or major abuse.

I wanted these to use on myself when I take my dogs for a walk at night. They are easy to use and work great. What I didn’t count on was using them on my dogs. I have been trying to find a small, light up dog collar to fit on my 12 lb dogs, however they tend to be too large to comfortably fit around their necks. I ended up just looping one of these around each of their harnesses, on their backs, and it worked great! Nothing around their necks! Just a loop of color on each of their backs. I especially recommend these for the versatility.

I don’t often use products for their intended purpose so my review may not help others that much…That being said, I run a lot of pick-up sports for adults and once we start losing daylight quicker (end of August/early September) I find ways to add LED lights, glowsticks, light-up sports equipment, etc. to extend our play time.
Despite the not-so solid reviews for the pink LED slap bracelets I decided to order 12 of them for use along with my other nighttime lights to continue playing my sports later in the year. They haven’t been used yet (I literally just tested them all out and we played our pick-up sport for the week LAST night) BUT I’m happy to say that they are all in excellent condition and work perfectly. Each one has been tested and I tried putting a few on my wrist to see how they felt. I can’t wait to try these as they are EXACTLY what I was looking for and all appear to be working perfectly for my needs.
I’ll update my review later on if they wear out quickly or are uncomfortable to wear while we’re playing sports but this addition to the mix is going to allow our players to have lights on their wrists and ankles that can flash (quickly or slowly) or stay solid, making it easier to identify individual players from across the field.
*I ordered 12 green ones too and they also all work perfectly and are in excellent condition. Because they were part of the same order I can only write one review.

I bought these for my sister at Christmas and she loves them. They each have flashing lights in addition to the fluorescent reflection, so they are quite handy for walks in the evenings. I recommend them.

These are brights and great for kids. We use them when camping and they can keep on wrist, ankle, or bike. My only complaint is the led slips out since the end isn’t sealed.

Ok – so when i first pulled these out of the package i was totally unimpressed- they didnt seem even close to the brightness in the photos and i felt that it would have been more efficient and bright if they used white light in the colored band instead of colored lights in the colored band – they all worked, but some (the red especially) seemed pretty dim. I was about to write this product off as yet another con i fell for on amazon, however my disappointment quickly faded when i went out on my first walk. Most of the lights are plenty bright enough to be seen from a distance in the dark. And the light doesnt slide around at all once its secured – just Make sure you tuck the part w the battery under the black elastic near the edge of the band so it stays in place. The slap band works great and stayed secure on my ankle (im petite so it may not fit a large mans ankle fyi) for a 2.5 hour walk without me ever having to adjust it! That ALONE was worth the purchase for me since that rarely happens. I got home and even forgot i had it on for an hour while i was cleaning my apartment – so it was on for 3.5-4 hours straight w no heat or discomfort and no noticeable change to the brightness. Fantastic! I have only had them a couple days so i will update accordingly if they start crapping out on me – but as of right now, i totally recommend these bands! They kept me safe and visible on the streets of Los Angeles, they are comfortable and they look pretty damn cool on my ankles 🙂 Awesome product

I bought 2 packs (12) and three didn’t work. Changed the batteries and voila, they all worked. Should that happen no. But what do you expect for $3 apiece? For the people who say they are defective, I suspect it was the battery. Also, be careful using these around small children and the battery is easily accessible and could be a choking hazard.

The while you may assume that as they are LED and given there intended purpose these would be fairly bright because the bulb is cases behind the coloured fabric it mutes how much light they give off. If your using these for safety I’d be inclined to look at a different product.

I bought these so people could see me when walking my dog at night. They’re ok, the light projection does its job although some didn’t work properly when we got them and I actually jad to replace the batteries as soon as I got them. The quality of the actual material band isn’t great, it frayed quickly

Some of the reviews demonstrate a misunderstanding of the use of this product. These bands are not made to light your way in the dark. They are made so you can be seen by others and they do this very well. Battery life is good since the light source is a single LED that shines down the length of the band. Replacement of the battery is easy. You slide out the plastic strip inside the band about an inch. Slide the old battery out, slide the new battery in, and slide the strip back into the band. The only downside I have experienced is that the on/off button can get finicky after a year of use – sometimes it will work and sometimes it won’t. The bands give good value for the price.

I bought these because my wife and I like to walk in the evenings. When I first put these on, I was skeptical because they did not seem bright. Of course I was inside the house with the lights on. Once outside in the dark, they were really bright. I’m fact when we went in our walk, the lights are so bright they reflect off everything. Now I say this but they are not overpowering or blinding to myself or wife.
We wear these on our wrist and they are comfortable. My wife has even wrapped hers around a high ponytail and that worked still keeping her visible. The only negative thing I will say is, I am not sure how long the batteries are going to last. Time will tell. Other than that, great product for the money. Definitely recommend these.

I use this on my wrist or ankle.
The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because of the overall design.
It looks cheap because the battery and electronic board is easily visible.
If they could hide it better then I would have given this 5 stars.
Overall, i’m happy with this purchase and it also makes walking fun now because of all the attention I get.
