I use this when I walk or train my dogs. Keeps treats immediately to hand, is well-made (this is my second) and attaches securely to bumbag, belt or waistband. Brilliant.

As a woman, I have very few pants with usable pockets. In general, that’s not a problem. Except when I play golf. Then I need a convenient place to store the remote control for my electric push cart, without interfering with my swing. I had been thinking about how to make a pocket that would slip under my waistband, that could be conveniently placed for easy storage and retrieval of my remote, and that would securely hold the remote when not in use. Then it occurred to me that Amazon might have something that would serve this purpose.
I could never have come up with such an ingenious solution. This pocket works with any pants (or golf skirt I suppose). The back flap slips neatly under my waist ban, and strong magnets snap it into place. For storage, I use the velcro flap fastener, and while playing, I slip the closure flap down into the pocket for easy access to my remote. I position the pocket where it’s easiest to get to. What a wonderfully ingeneous general-purpose pocket!

This works great. I was trying to find something I could keep dog treats in that was easily accessible to praise my dog’s good behavior while hiking. I tried a few bags that I would attach to the leash but I could never find the right one that could be both accessible and would not spill treats during quick movements of my body.
This bag is very lite weight. It attaches on all of the shorts I have worn with it and even holds strong through jeans. The Velcro holds well So the treats do not fall out during movements but opens easily and quickly so I can praise or distract my dog.
The only negative thing is that it is slim and deep so if you have very large hands, it could be difficult to fit your hand into and get treats from the very bottom. I would recommend if that may be an issue for you is to just keep the bag full so you never have to be reaching for the bottom. I am a 24 year old 9’10” tall male with regular sized hands and it is easy enough for me to reach the bottom.

I got this for my car key after getting fed up with too many women’s pants and jeans with shallow or no front pockets. It’s great! The price seemed high, but it’s good quality with VERY strong magnets, so there’s no way it’s falling off no matter what you’re doing. And the pocket itself is a perfect size with good Velcro so it holds a few small items snuggly. I wish I’d bought this sooner!

Did not really want to wear a full belt or an armband for running. And phone holsters for belts don’t work perfectly for running. Had to really search for this. Works perfectly. Would prefer that the flip part that holds the magnet had less fabric but that is not an issue.

I got the mini and the XL for when I have my phone with me.
The mini is perfect for a car key and parkrun barcode card. It stays put and I don’t even notice it when I am running.
I can’t use the xl however as it feels weighty and if I wear at the back it feels like it’s pulling my tights down. Wear at the front and it chafes my wobbly tum.

Updated review as of 10-20-22…this product was promising for the sole use with my Medtronic Minimed Insulin pump but with regular use i continued to receive error messages on my pump. I contacted Minimed who troubleshot with me and we discovered the errors were due to the magnetic force of the pouch closure. The magnets are very strong. This also confirms the warnings of NOT passing through a metal detector or xray machines at airports and courthouses. The magnetic force interrupts the pump functions.
I still recommend this pouch for its use but do NOT recommend with an insulin pump or any calibrated electronic device as the magnetic closure will interfere with the device functioning. End of update.
Original review…This product was purchased for the sole use with my Medtronic 630 insulin pump while sleeping. My PJs don’t have pockets and even if they did, I can’t see my pump staying in the pocket or possibly causing discomfort if I lay on my side, on top of my pump. I have worn a SPI double-pocket running belt for many years. Although that belt holds quite a bit of gear for day use, it has not been ideal for sleeping with.
I stumbled across this Running Buddy in search of a “pocket running belt” to hold my pump. I desired a velcro fasten around the waist, not a buckle – which has also been a search challenge.
This Running Buddy does not have any clasps or buckles. Instead this pouch is secured to your waist band with strong magnets sandwiching your waist band between two sections of material. The actual pouch is a mesh breathable pocket, secured closure with a patch of velcro. The pouch size is perfect for an insulin pump. My Medtronic fits snug vertically and has room to spare in the pocket width. This pouch can accommodate a deck of cards, for size reference.
I have worn this now for 3 nights with no issues, no discomfort and no movement, the pouch stays in place. I am very happy with this purchase and product. Recommended for insulin pump wearers, especially for sleep! I purchased the pink version.

I have been looking for something like this for a very long time – something small and waterproof/resistant to hold my keys when I go for a run. I love that it has a magnetic back so you can easily clip it onto the top of your pants/shorts – or anywhere, probably, like a shirt or sports bra. It seems well made. I got the blue one because it was cheaper and the color is much more vibrant in person – I LOVE it! It’s a very pretty blue (to me). I bought 3 of these when they were on sale. I think this is a decent option (the only option it seems so far) for those of us who are less crafty/don’t want to put in the time or effort, but I think someone with enough handcrafting skills could make his/her own version of this. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the velcro closure, but it works and is a good option though I foresee this becoming less secure with continued use as with most velcro closures. Time will tell to see how it holds up.
