Coming from an Apple Watch, the only thing I actually miss is responding right on the watch. Everything else Garmin dose better, especially battery life.

I have used this watch repeatedly on military operations, and the stealth mode is great, and the MGRS nav is great!! But again as mentioned before the battery life when you can go over a month without charging it, and the watch even says unlimited battery!

Downside to this watch is its apps kinda suck.

Black, Instinct 2, Solar, Tactical. Take a few minutes when you first get the watch and are topping up the charge to familiarize yourself with all of it’s features. It has so many functions and it does them accurately. Once you get it set up the way you want, accessing and changing modes and functions is easy and quick. I wear it 24/7 and need to recharge about once every 4 or 5 weeks: yes, weeks – the solar really helps.
Using my cell phone and the app, I have it set up just the way I want. The connection is quick and almost never drops. (Once in 3 months.)
This watch is rugged, powerful, accurate, comfortable, and just plain works well. It does what it advertises and more. This is by far the best purchase I have made in a long time. My health has improved due to the tracking and monitoring capabilities of this Garmin watch.

Not a techie guy at all but I’m loving this watch over my Apple Watch so much! It’s taking a little bit of time to adjust to the functionality of it but the health/sleep tracking is miles ahead. Very rugged watch that is definitely worth giving it a shot.

Great fit, easy to wear. Lots of options and choices of operation. Great battery and the most important!! TACTICOOL look is great!! Hehehe..
Now seriously…very nice watch. Does alot. Wish it would be touch screen but I knew that before I bought it.
The other thing is Garmin asking for an $100 to $300 dollars to buy the license so you can use the Applied Balistics software and that’s kind of crummy….I didn’t know that before I bought and that was one of the reasons I purchased the product but still not a deal breaker. Maybe later on I’ll buy the $100 dollars license. But for now I’m okay with that.
Really cool watch. You’d like it. Thought about buying the $1400 tacticx but I think I’d probably cry if gets trashed at work. So decided to go with the instinct 2x solar tactical instead. For $400 bucks if it gets trashed I won’t cry that bad….maybe…..

A good watch works well took a bit to get used to it but now it’s great.

  6. Mandalores Mercy

Great watch, no doubts about it. The watch is large, which is great for my large wrists. It has more features than I could ever learn to use on this Star Trek inspired time piece. I get my notifications nearly instantly so I can ignore the phonies calling all day and, it has a great screen for seeing texts. The light is far more useful than you would ever think, no more stubbing toes at 2 am navigating to the bathroom.

But not all is well on your wrist.

Previously my wrist companion was a G-Shock H1000, that I abused like a hammer. The gshock was indestructible to nearly being the embodiment of the word. It was torn from my wrist and crushed under a 10,000 lbs car lift during a messy repair. I saw this and thought “oh now that is more civilized.”

    It is.

The battery doesn’t keep the watch at full charge as easily as the gshock did. The buttons are constantly getting pressed by the back of my hand during work, this means you have no idea what it is doing when go to look for the time. This means you will be using the button lock often, and getting irritated when you go to check anything on the watch. The back of your hand will also occasionally unlock the watch by holding down the button too long.

Very few will ever abuse a time piece like I do, so it might just be perfect, for everyone else.

I’ve been waiting to get a watch that can do both GPS and wrist HR monitors and is super accurate. Chest straps for monitoring HR are not ideal; they chafe and are not accurate. This watch does it all and has so many extra features as well. GPS finds location very fast, even in areas where there is no cell reception. The battery life is insane. Even when going all out with max GPS turned on and HR going for hours, the battery barely goes down.

The media could not be loaded.

Compared to every other watch out there this watch is great, simple to use and to connect to your phone and apps. Works great with my notifications so far I haven’t had issues and the solar charging is a plus, first time I received it the charge is 35/36 days fully without battery saver on. The flashlight is awesome my co workers think it’s better than their Apple Watch or Galaxy. Durability wise I haven’t put it through a lot yet I do work as a technician working on machines but honestly I haven’t had it go through a lot yet to tell. This watch is NOT touch screen but honestly I find it way better than my old galaxy watch.

Hasn’t left my wrist since getting it except for showering.

Love how rugged it is. It’s not the smart watch for everyone but it’s the best one for me that I’ve ever tried. And I love how it looks like a normal gshock esthetic and doesn’t look like a smart watch which is always one of my gripes with them.

  10. Afladd

    Muy adecuado para diversas actividades.

  11. Afladd

    best watch for fitness tracker

  12. Bryan

  13. Alex whisenand

Great watch. Size it prefect for my wrist. The battery life is amazing compared to other watches. Have everything on and still goes weeks. Love all the features. So many features. Over all its great. Way better than Gshock and Samsung that I have.
