Charges quickly runs a good while on a charge makes a lot of light good tool
Just an Opinion –
Brightest flashlight I own, just what I needed to be hands free. As other reviews mentioned, using on brightest setting battery doesn’t last as long but I’m happy with this purchase.

I am very happy with this headlamp and so wanted to recommend to people who are considering to buy helmets with built-in bike lights or to modify their existing helmet. Based on my experience from both driver and rider perspective, light on helmet is an important feature for both visibility and to see where you look at. I was able to install it to a M size helmet (white) and kids helmet (black) as shown in picture. L size helmet may or may not work, or may need longer straps. I added double sided tapes under the lamps for stability and so far it has been holding fine.
Front light: Wide view makes it more visible and also helps seeing around. All 3 modes are useful. 1) Bright mode: I can bike in dark without needing an additional bike light, it is not ideal and I bike slower then, but it works significantly better than just visibility lights. 2) Lower mode – I use this when I just want to be visible or if I already have another bike light 3) Flashing – This is helpful when there is enough light in the environment but want to get cars/pedestrians attention more. I wish flashing frequency was a bit lower (ie too fast on/off) but that’s ok. I try to avoid directly looking into people’s eyes with this mode unless I am annoyed by a rude driver, then I look straight into their eyes, better than insulting 🙂
One minor downside is that I had to remove the visor from the white helmet for this to work. But something else can be adapted for that purpose…
Back light: Same modes. I only use the 3rd mode since that is most visible. It is much brighter than what my white helmet already has. So, I don’t use the built-in one anymore.
I think both lights are brighter than even those expensive helmets with better built-in lights.
It has been 2 weeks I think. My son and I have been using it in cold weather. Battery seems to be holding well. It also has a battery level indicator (blue lights) on white helmet you can see as I m charging it. I like that cable USB-c. It is light weight. I dont really notice an extra weight.
Lastly, front and back lights can be controlled independently, but fed from the same battery. This gives flexibility in usage and better charge management if needed. Also, much easier to charge it (just like in the picture).

I bought these as Christmas presents for me and my whole family. They make great camping and fishing headlamps. Normal headlamps just light up a small, limited, circular area. These ones light up the entire area in front of you even into your peripherals and are super bright. Highly recommend, we are all very pleased!

Bought the two pack. Didn’t pay an arm and a leg. In the dark (where you would be using this) it is quite bright. Made of decent material. Fit well on my hardhat with the included clips. Charges fairly quickly but battery on high doesn’t last as long as I would have liked. But that being said, it’s still highly functional. Use the other one when I have to do outdoor activities in the dark and it does light up quite a large area. Would recommend, just don’t expect it to last hours on high.
Works good would buy again good quality for the price –
I tried this for the first time after giving the headlamp a full charge. I use headlights when I’m working in dark and/or confined areas, especially when I need both hands for the task. This headlamp provides light but I have to say it isn’t doesn’t appear to be as bright as I expected. My Petzl and Eveready headlamps are much brighter and I compared them for this job I was doing.
Perhaps this is due to the fact that this headlamp shines a more diffuse beam to a larger area than the Petzl and the Eveready headlamps. I suppose this feature is for night riders or working outdoors which I have yet to try.
As far as battery life goes, I am skeptical when it comes to rechargeable batteries because I know their history. This headlamp appeared to lose some luminance after the short time I was doing this job. Maybe the manufacturer could provide a switch to turn off the red taillight when it’s not needed? That would be nice because LED’s, from my experience, suck batteries dry in fairly short order and it’s not always needed.
If lost or stolen would I replace this headlamp? Well, that will depend on how it works outdoors so I will have to add an update at a later time.
