I feel like every man, woman, and child should have one of these. They’re just so handy to have. I’ve used these for hiking, working on plumbing under the sink, working on vehicles under the hood, and even a little late night grilling! Anything where you need light but you also need your hands. Sure beats trying to hold a flashlight in your mouth. With a headlamp you ALWAYS have light wherever you’re looking. These have multiple light modes including red light which is great for preserving night vision. The head pivots so you can really dial in where the light is pointing. The headband is comfortable. They’re lightweight and small. I wish they were rechargeable but they’re so affordable in a 4 pack that I can’t really complain too much. Would recommend these to anyone

These are exactly what most people need. I do tech work and a lot of DIY work. These are great for the price. You get 2 of them and they come with energizer max batteries. Hard to beat!!. The hinge on the battery compartment is an actual pivot not just flexing plastic every time you open it. The different brightness options fit almost every situation and the unit pivots so you can adjust light right where you need it. Now if we could just get Amazon to direct you to nice quality items like this every time when you search instead of directing you to their 20 different cheap brands all the same item with different crazy names.

I purchased the model called “PRO”. Amazon seems also to list a “PRO 260” that appears to be the same product, as the purchased model is also rated at 260 lumens.
I have no problem giving this 5 stars. I have a vintage Petzl lamp that cost as much or more 10 – 15 years ago for a single unit, and these are vastly superior. The Petzl battery compartment was annoyingly difficult to open / close, and the on-off switch was no joy. The “red” light was a flip-down filter over the main light that was also hard to locate by feel and operate.
Regarding the Energizer, the battery compartment is easy to open yet still closes securely. The batteries do not want to “jump out” and are happy to stay in place while you close the cover. The on-off switch is significantly larger and therefore easier to find / operate. The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust. These units arrived with a black strap instead of the gray shown / advertised in the listing. That was a pleasant surprise to me. You may feel differently.
The only objections I can raise are the complete lack of operating instructions (it’s surprisingly non-intuitive) and that’s it’s advertised as having 7 modes, which is misleading. Let me resolve those.
It really has only four modes: red, spot and flood combined, spot only, and flood only, in that sequence. The modes are initiated by the number of times you initially press the on switch. Press once for red. Press four times for flood only. Once in any mode, a single press returns you to off. So, to go from spot to flood you press once for off, then four times for flood.
Except for red, all modes are variably dimmable. Once in any mode except red, hold the switch and the light will dim. It will blink when it arrives at the lowest level, which is not all the way to black. Press and hold again and it will brighten, blinking again when it achieves maximum intensity. Since the modes are variably dimmable you might as well say it has infinite modes, but the way the manufacturer counts them is red, and then both high and low on the three other modes.
Both units arrived in working order.

I had a similar headlamp to this years agao and glad I found these again.
Overall, great, basic light. One thing you need to do is put a piece of dark tape (eclectic or gorilla) on the bottom part of the lense. If you don’t do this, you get a bad glare from the light. Once you do this, they work great.

Las utilice para ascender a una montaña y me funcionaron bastante bien, iluminan lo suficiente en absoluta obscuridad. La batería soportó a media luz sin agotarse durante unas tres horas más o menos, me imagino que aguantarán un poco más .

I actually have picked up yet another set of the 2 packs of these headlamps since my first purchase, they seem to be solid quality and all of them function as expected. And they also came with batteries! I think the smartest and best part of these specific lights is that the red light is the first setting in the sequence of the optional light modes and therefore does not blow out your night vision as the white LEDs will do once turned on, then off.. as your vision will take much longer to adjust to the dark then if just the red light setting is used. & While this seems obvious, I have owned other headlamps that cycle in the reverse order which is quite annoying. So you can’t really go wrong with this product for most uses however just keep in mind they are water resistant, not waterproof. My previous similar model was used for a kayak/camping trip near water and enough moisture had remained in the battery compartment that it caused the batteries to corrode over time as it sat in storage and damaged the lamp. If using for this purpose again I would make sure to remove the batteries from the compartment and leave open to air dry for a day or so before putting the batteries back in and putting the head lamp away.

I love headlamps and use different ones regularly – from expensive ones that cost in the $80 range to ones that work out to about $10 each. They are all different configurations of LEDs and brightnesses. This ones are a solid choice, are plenty bright, do the job – and even come with batteries. Pretty much the best deal you can find value for money wise. Highly recommended.

These are working great. I found them helpful while I was working in a crawlspace. They are comfortable. The red light is a nice feature in areas where light discipline might be needed. Overall I’d buy again.

These are the best lights. They have 3 different white light levels and a red light for when a softer light might be needed. The head band is very comfortable and nice width that makes stay put. The lamp can be adjusted down so makes if great for needlework or other close work. It also worked great during a power outage. It allowed for easy hands free work and walking. The bonus was the batteries came with them.
