Today everything stopped working. It will not take a charge and won’t turn on. I’ve changed my rating to ONE STAR
When I first received this lamp it was very bright. The throw of the beam isn’t very far, unless you start to constrict the lens. I assume different Led types have different characteristics. For a couple months everything was good. The placement of the power button is strange and I can’t understand why it would be placed there. Button placement is more of an inconvenience.
However ,Then I noticed that the charge level indicator was always at four bars. If it was almost dead: four bars. So there was no way f knowing what the actual charge is. Then I noticed that it wasn’t getting as bright as it use to, even after charged all night. I Believe the batteries are losing capacity.
Pros -bright, lots of batteries
Cons -charge level doesn’t work,batteries lose capacity quickly
Personal preference- strange power button placement, throw distance is not very far on when aperture fully opened

However, the charging connections are impractical for car use & even around the house, or for a tradesman, as I am.

I have had this light for almost two full years now in industrial settings. It’s a fantastic light, though it can be somewhat hard to fashion onto your hard hat. I wish the button to turn on was mounted somewhere other than the back of the light, though it is something that I have gotten used to.
It is very durable. I have dropped it, had stuff dropped on it, and smashed it against objects many many times. The lens is slightly loose in the housing now, but that is it. Everything else has held up well. As I don’t run it constantly, battery life for me is very satisfactory. I have to charge it normally twice a month depending on usage. That said it does heat up quickly while in use, and it can take a while to charge.
It is exceptionally bright and useful for trying to find minute details in something when light is necessity. The largest downside is the weight. I understand the durable nature might lend itself to something heavy, but it is noticeable especially when wearing for 8-12 hour days with only small breaks in between. When this one breaks, I am unsure if I will try to find a different brand or not. If nothing else it has done very well for the price I paid for it and held up in punishing conditions. I really wish it were lighter, but that might just be the trade off for durability.

I needed this for a project that required a headlamp for dark spaces and this really lit up the area. It has adjustable straps so it fits snug. Its very comfortable to wear even for long periods. It does have some weight so it may take some getting used to. It also zooms so you can concentrate on a specific area. It also has rechargeable batteries.

This headlamp is excellent and extremely powerful and bright. One downside is that it does get very hot after extended usage and can burn out or malfunction. If you use it smartly it will last. You MUST turn it off periodically and allow it to cool down, this is non-negotiable. I do recommend and will definitely order again.

In simple words, if I need to buy another flashlight I would buy the same.
It is the strongest light I have ever seen in a flashlight.
It comes with three rechargeable batteries, you recharge them directly from the flashlight, very convenient.
