I like the perks of this card, especially being able to change how rewards are calculated. You have to be on the lookout because sometimes, changing an option can change how coupons behave, but that just helps you take in all of the options because every scenario is different. I like the flexibility, rewards, and convenience of this card.

I have a few cards, this one is for my business. I really like it. I get great point rewards I use on Amazon and I love how easy the app is to use.

5% back is nice, a clean cash-back check upon request would be much easier:
1. If you buy a item partly with points with the remainder charged to the Amex credit card, balancing Amazon orders with Amex statement is very difficult. Example: Say you have 8,123 points and buy an item for $100. The Amazon order shows $100; the Amex statement shows a charge of $18.77 and Pay With Points of $81.23 (2 line items). That makes matching your orders with your Amex statement is difficult. Solution: Buy an item entirely with points or entirely with credit card, never split the transaction.
2. You can cash in the points for a check, but it is also complicated. Following the above example, I may have 8,123 points, but find that only a portion of those can be redeemed for cash. Amazon says I can use all these points for a purchase, but Amex says I can use only a portion of the points for a cash-back. Their reason? it’s because I don’t have enough purchases. That makes no sense at all, because I earned the points making purchases.
3. I don’t use this Amex card at Whole Foods because I have another Amex card that gives 6% cash-back at supermarkets in the form of a periodic check, not points. Clean and simple.

I really enjoy using the Amazon Business American Express card. I’m thankful for the rewards that accrue as I use the card to make business purchases.
