The fit is perfect no issues with fit.
The fabric is awesome, the inner liner is awesome. The inner liner on my skin is awesome. I’ll be on the beach wearing theses all summer long. Awesome shorts no matter the length CRZ has made a great short for me.

These are NOT a 5 inch inseam. The shorts I am wearing are 5in & I’m holding up the product against them. These are still decent quality but if you’re 5’6, these are still considered long.

So I got these as many others did. I heard it was a dupe for the pacebreaker shorts and figured why not? I love pacebreakers for running and could use a few more pairs.
So here’s the deal, in terms of fit, I think these are actually slightly bigger than pacebreaker, and maybe a little higher waisted. Not really a problem.
In terms of the material, definitely not the same but for the price not bad at all, very stretchy, and seemingly durable without being too thick. Personally, I’ve tried other Amazon workout shorts such as MIER and the quality of those products were way worse than CRZ.
Finally, the overall design is very similar to the pacebreakers, 5” inseam, no liner, basically the same pockets with the zippered pocket every so slightly more forward than the lulus.
So let me temper expectations. If you are looking for an exact copy, well that’s not what you’re getting. If you want a product that is 85-90% there then these are for you.

One of my biggest pet peeves for shorts is the waistband. Ten Thousand Shoets for example have just a string and it feels terrible.
These have a nice sturdy waistband, length is great, and quality seems up to par.
I think these are better than most 50-60 dollar pair these days for sure.
Pockets are also a plus because I hate shallow pockets with having a decent sized phone.
For reference, I have done Olympic Weightlifting, CrossFit, Bodybuilding, Rucking, and Endurance workouts in these
Still look good and wear them casually when I coach as well.
I will be buying more for sure.

I bought nearly all the colors when they were on sale. I have an extensive collection of 7″ LLL Pace Breakers, and wanted to branch out to the 5″. These CRZ’s are very close to LLL Pace Breakers. Here are the differences so you can decide if they are for you.
* the fabric is slightly less soft then LLL. However it is nearly imperceptible and very acceptable.
* I’d say the waistband is a tad taller than PB’s and again, barely noteworthy. If anything they are more comfortable.
* you can shift the drawstring from the front exterior waistband to the interior… great option that LLL doesn’t have.
* sizing wise, they are TTS and same as LLL’s PB’s.
* the side zippered pocket on the right slides contents to the front of the shorts vs. LLL’s shift them to the rear… towards the rear balances out the weight much better. This is the only major con to the CRZ’s.
Even at full price, these are nice shorts… however when/ if they go on sale, buy them all.

These shorts fit well, are comfortable, and the pockets are quite nice and hold heavier items well enough for me. I hate the lulu lemon comparison though.
I own both pairs of shorts and have worn the lulu lemons over the past year and half while having these shorts for about a month. Through multiple wears of these I can tell you there is a noticeable difference for me in comfort, thickness, pocket quality, material, and how the shorts ride up on me. I love the lulu lemon shorts and in a perfect world would buy only those. The only problem is they’re over twice as much as these shorts.
Conclusively these are a great pair of shorts that serve well and are worth the money. Objectively, I enjoy the lulu lemon shorts significantly more but when factoring cost relative to quality I give both shorts 5 stars and am glad to own and use both. I am interested in long term quality of these because my lulu Lemons have been through the wash 20+ times and look great with no frays or discoloration.
