Went from a second generation apple watch to this my opinion maybe skewed. The apple would conk at the hint of perspiration, the battery life wouldn’t allow to record activities longer than 2 hours, and the wrist heart rate monitor seemed like it was just making guesses.
This Garmin has 150 plus pages in its manual. It can do it all and is light. I was prepared to buy the Epix gen 2 but I think I wouldn’t have appreciated the extra bulk on my dainty wrists.

Excelente reloj, su pantalla AMOLED es increíble, a luz de día se ve super nítida y clara, para navegación con la nueva incorporación touch sobre los mapas hace mil veces más fácil su manipulación.
Su peso menor a los 60g es increíble parece que no traes nada al correr y con la capacidad de almacenamiento para música y mapas es mas que suficiente.
Duración de batería hasta de 22 días, y entrenando diario de 2-3 horas 10 días me parece increíble.

Long time Garmin customer. They have never failed to deliver an amazing watch. If you already have a 955, then you will be very familiar with most of the features. The AMOLED display is no doubt impressive. I would definitely get the Miimall translucent protective cover for the bezel and raised glass edges on the watch face. I upgraded from the FR 935 for the music option, and some of the running metrics which had forced me to wear a pod. Battery life will be sacrificed a bit for the new display, but still 3 weeks on smart watch mode, and 22 hrs auto select GPS mode is really good! Listening to music cuts it in half, but still not bad. Thumbs up

This Garmin Forerunner 965 replaces my 14 year old Forerunner 15. Many advancements have been made since that old watch. I’m using the heart rate monitoring capability to attempt to stay in zone 2 during my runs. Also like the sleep monitoring and the step count feature that provides incentive for me to get up and move.

A bit pricey BUT the performance, battery life alone make this one of the best running watches that I’ve owned. I’ve charged this twice in almost 3 months. Lots of add on features other than running/walking. Functionality could improve on future versions. All in all better than I expected
