This stuff is amazing! I have it stuck to my hiking gear, hiking boots, and on my wet-weather hardshell jacket. It sticks like glue for years.
Each strip can be cut to size, but be careful it doesn’t stick to itself; it will meld to itself like duct tape. I have stuck it to my hiking boots and it has stayed in place over years and miles of dirt, rocks, mud, ice, snow, and rain. I have strips of it on my camelbaks and my hardshells, and it stays stuck despite all the water it sees on those items.
The reflective quality remains despite all the abuse it takes, too. This is a very good product if you hike/walk in low-light, but high traffic conditions.
The value to amount per roll is not great, but the quality of the product is high. If you want to cover a lot of gear, buy a few rolls. 1 roll will only do 1 pack, with maybe a little extra left.

USES: clothes, kid’s backpacks, hiking/running/biking at night, tents, bear cans, helmets, cat/dog collar
PROS: very reflective, adheres well in different surfaces/fabrics
CONS: not super durable in every surface/fabric (peels off, does not last long if washing)

Stuck this tape on my backpack (that i use pretty frequently) in 2017…. its now 2024 and the tape is still stuck there, still reflective, and is not sticky or frayed. Looks like practically new. great quality tape!!

Easy to use. Reflective properties age great, Doesn’t stick very long. Perhaps it’s the nylon shell? I wish I could iron it on without ruining the coat. Perhaps a different application would work better. Hey Works well for a while but it’s not permanent, what is?

I use this dog and human jackets. It’s great for jacket repair, too. It withstands washing and the reflection is bright. It is a short piece of tape, though, and I would be happy to buy it longer lengths.

This stuff is great. Got it to cover all my powder coated diamondback logos for anti-theft uglification, but it actually looks decent. It’s a very flat grey in daylight, but even in overcast daylight or.the start of twilight, you get the reflective pop when headlights hit it. At night, it’s awesomely reflective. Brighter than the stripe on my new Schwalbe tires, for example.
It is very sturdy; easy to apply and work with; easy to cut with fresh box knife blade or good scissors; and edges haven’t shown a bit of curling with very hot, then cold and rainy weather.
I beat it very hard with a black rubber hammer to mark it up, and strong glancing blows did not shift or damage it at all.
Get it a bit warm and take just a little care to lay it down a bit at a time, and there’s no bubble chasing, stretching, etc. I wiped bike frame with alchohol, but later stuck bits to grubby helmet, faux leather panniers, unclean wheel rims, etc. & it sticks like *****. It’s strong enough material, though, that you can peel it back up if you still have an edge up and it’s warm – so it’s possible to imediately reposition if you get a bit off track as you lay it down.
My vintage 1990s glitter magna stickers look great on it!

I fixed a small hole in my motorcycle saddle bags with this stuff. I was able to cut on my cameo 4 vinyl cutter. It cut really nicely and I was able to make various shapes to use. But I made a really detailed decal with tiny trees. I know this is totally a stretch for this tape to stick like this. But so far it is holding up great on my saddle bag that I used all summer. It is super reflective and looks to be the exact same material used on my ortlieb bags. I added some of my leftover tape to my camping kit to fix air mattresses and tents if disaster strikes on a trip.
