I’m a medium but I read the reviews and I decided to go with a larger size than I normally wear. A medium would’ve fit perfectly. The large is a little longer and less tight than I imagine the medium to fit. It’s all fine though, the large looks good too. I cut the liner out of the shorts because it felt weird with my underwear. If I was using them as swim trunks I would’ve left it in and just went commando. The 3-inch inseam is great! It gives my legs more freedom to move without constriction on leg day. I will definitely be buying more of these!

Size chart is accurate. I’m 6’3″ with 37″ waist, 42″ hip and XL fits great, not tight. Although it says 4-way stretch, it does stretch but limited. Also the side split is only about 1/2″, almost not functional. Having said that, they are the perfect length and do not restrict during full range of motion. It has a relatively wide elastic waistband that works very well, combined with the drawstring so they can’t go over the hip, it’s perfect. I love the material, it wicks sweat and dries very fast. I might use these for the pool also, I hate when my swim suit stays wet forever. I use them when running also and put my iPhone 12Pro in the zippered pocket. It fits easily and never extends below the leg opening. The liner is very comfortable and does its job…

By far, this is my favorite short. Perfect leg length, wears well, comfy, and overall exactly what I was looking for. As some reviews mention, the light green is a bit transparent as you can see the liner. Overall they’re fine and the only color that does this. Aesthetically, they’re absolutely a gorgeous color though and definitely recommend them. Mediums fit absolutely perfectly at a US31 waist. Overall, they wash well and look just like they came out of the package brand new. Definitely will be purchasing more before they’re gone.

These shorts are now my favorite running, jogging shorts. I love the zippered pockets for my keys and iPhone. I’m 5′-11″ and 170 lbs. and wear a medium size. The fit is great– not too tight and not too loose– just right to show off your rear and your front bulge a bit. The stretch fabric moves with you. Because I work out daily, I have purchased 7 pairs in different colors so I always have a clean pair. Be aware when washing them that some of the colors run– when I washed the Wine Red pair they bled and turned the other stuff I washed them with pink. I think the other colors I’ve tried are color fast (black, kaki, green, grey and blue). The only con for me is that the mesh lining is not form-fitted and not elastic, so it’s loose and somewhat baggy. I dealt with that by simply cutting it out with scissors. That’s why I gave these 4 stars instead of 5. The fabric is not see-through, so I run and work out commando with no fear that anyone can see my junk. I will definitely buy more of these when I’ve worn out the ones I have now.

Product fits and looks great on me! Shorts are in style and I received several compliments. Material is very good and light weight. Shorts are excellent for use at the beach or gym. Please make these in “White!”

I love my “Rexcyril Men’s Athletic Gym Workout Shorts 3 Inch… Shorts”. I got them in both red and black. The best colors imo! They are great for running and for swimming. (More on this below.) Because they’re so short, they give you no restriction when it comes to leg movements. And the more I work out, the more I find this fundamental to good performance. Don’t be afraid to show more of them legs, fellas.
There is an inner white mesh layer inside, so I say they’re more designed for swimming, or activities in pool or in water. If you go running with these, feel free to go commando. The inner layer acts as an underwear. I’ve gone running with these once, they feel good. My package, if ya know what I mean, feel well supported. No problem there. If you wear these as athletic wear to normal events, however, putting on an extra layer of underwear is advised. And it would still fit just fine.
The only bad thing I’ve found so far is, $17 is a bit more than I care to pay, $15 is more like it! $17 isn’t unreasonable, though. And the rope (or string) that ties around the waist is not very durable. The part where it gets tied up (or constricted) the most is now visibly thinner and weaker. The damage hasn’t been proven critical just yet; the shorts do not fall off, but I wish this essential part of the clothing would last longer. I only had them for one year or so, wore them for no more than 5 times.

I liked these so well I bought another pair in a different color. They are very soft and comfortable and are well-made. They have a built in liner so you can probably swim in them too, I just haven’t tried yet. I also wore a jock strap with them and they didn’t pinch or bunch at all. Everything was comfortable. They are very short and that’s what I was going for! Great price also!
