I had submitted a quick review when I first received the product but I’ve now been using it for a couple of weeks and it’s truly awesome. It does a great job keeping me visible during my walks. Since it’s now dark before 5pm I get stuck walking at night and I do feel a lot safer now. Also, I was able to use it for almost 5 walks (my walks are each about 2 hours long) before I had to charge it. And it’s so convenient since it’s got a USB port for charging. Also people keep complimenting me about this product. It’s got 3 different light settings: colorful lights (think walking X-Mas tree), yellow, and blue. Also, it warns you when it’s time to charge as the lights change colors. I typically use the 2nd setting (yellow blinking lights) and they turned red before they turned off. So now I know that I should charge it after 4 walks.

Mine must have a defective switch. Product info describes 3 light modes, so I would assume you should need to press the button 4 times to cycle through the 3 light modes and then turn off. Each time I use it, it turns on with the first press but then requires MANY presses to cycle through modes and eventually turn off. It seems to take a different number of presses each time I try to use it. Just now it took 21 presses to eventually turn off. This is so annoying, I’m not going to use it.
Unfortunately, this was purchased in October as a present but not opened until Christmas — so the return window is closed. I sure would like the seller to replace this, or refund my purchase.

I love this for bike safety. It’s small, light, and bright and can fit over even bulky coats. The lights either blink or stay permanently on, and it hasn’t needed to be recharged yet. I’m a woman and 5’6.5”, and it fits me well (if anything, it’s a bit long, but that doesn’t impact its function). This even fits my husband, who is 6’4”.

The area with the battery seems to be open on the sides, unless you keep the plastic cover on it. Considering the plastic cover has to be removed to charge it I expect it to get lost. The leds are dimmer than expected, but theres a bunch of them. Would be better if there was just slow/fast flashing instead of the 20 seconds of solid before switching to flashing. It wouldn’t be too bad other than it’s hard to tell which mode when it starts off flashing and then is suddenly solid 20 seconds later. As dim as the LEDs are I definitely want them flashing all of the time to grab as much attention as possible. Another negative is it flashes while it’s charging which is annoying. Even though my $12 vest only has 1 front and back led I think they get much more attention, because of how bright they are even from the sides.
Positives: It’s easier to throw this over the shoulder than buckling up a led vest especially with a jacket. Has a carabiner to throw a spare house key, so you don’t have to grab them for a walk.
