  1. Rawlings Household

    PROS:

1> Bright! Holy Moly, I can’t wear a hat with these on my head, the brim lights up so much underneath that it is distracting. But even when I do – such as when it’s raining – the light on my forehead or the side-light provide great night viewing for hands-free use in any capacity.

2> Seeming to have great battery life. I charged all three, and have only been using one. I still don’t need to recharge it, and the others all have retained a good charge after 3 weeks or so. Now, I’m only using them for 3-5, maybe 10 minutes at a time, to go lock up my chickens at night after they’ve gone inside their roosting area, or to unload my car from a grocery run. But all told, I’ve used the one that is in active use for probably 90 total minutes, and it still is very bright. I’ll charge it soon, just on general principles. But one charge lasts well over an hour, at least when they’re new.

3> Waterproof, or at least they work fine in the rain, with some water getting on them from spray or if my hood or hat is set awry by a branch or mishap. Water tolerant, maybe, since nothing says they are OK for immersion or underwater use. But normal “a bit of rain, a bit of garden watering spray” has not caused any issues or dysfunction.

4> Value… What can I say? These are a good deal. There might be some cheaper ones out there, but this three-pack was $23, and that’s less than 8 dollars per light. I wanted to have one in my car, one in my home, and one as a backup or for my toolbox. So far, I’ve been very pleased, and I’m glad I bought the “cheaper bundle multipack”.

5> Two modes that I use – the “bright band ‘O light” that comes off your forehead is BRIGHT, in an arc around your head. Better than I was expecting, and very nice to not just have a spotlight as many headlamps have. And it does have a spotlight on the right side of your head, in case you need a spotlight. So, nice there too. I have not had need of the “motion sensor” mode, and cannot comment on that mode. And the flashing mode is just irritating, I can’t think why it’s even included, other than to give strobe-sensitive people very bad headaches.

    CONS

Not much. The strap is not a problem, but my one niggling little irk is that I’m left handed. And the controls are on the right side, as one would expect when 85% of people are right handed. So, this is not really an issue, I can run it all OK. But the spotlight on the side is angled just a bit down, not adjustable. This means that I CANNOT wear it upside down to put the controls on the left, as I have with some lights.

They really should have thought of this, because if they had a “click up or click down” adjustment on that spotlight, I could wear it either way, and still angle the light down as one normally would (and as it is now, as a fixed position on the right). This is a tiny irk, the least of all things, and not enough for me to give less than 5 stars. Just something to be aware of, really.

Overall, I really like this headlamp. For the price, you get 3 identical rechargeable headlamps (with power CORDS included, not usb to wall hub.) They have 4 light settings, and the full light, brightest setting is more than enough to light up my whole yard. I generally use this headlamps for 15-20 minutes a session, and it lasts about 3 sessions before starting to dim.

It has a motion function where you wave to turn it on and off. It’s neat, and handy I guess, but too sensitive to be useful.

The one thing I don’t like is the spotlight placement on the side. As a person that wears glasses, it creates a reflection/glare on the inside of my right glasses lens effectively blinding me in that eye. So I don’t really use the spot light for anything, but it is there for people who don’t have that issue. That being said, the LED strip is far more impressive than a lot of head lamps. For the price, and quantity, it’s a great deal.

I saw a friend had one of these and was impressed with the compact fit, bright light and versatility of this type of head-worn light. I was not disappointed in the utility when I bought my own (I bought a pack of 3), but there were no charging cables included in the package, which required me to return the lot, in order to exchange for a set which included the advertised cables. Aside from that inconvenience, exacerbated by Amazon’s policy on returns, which seems to preclude simply requesting the missing cables, I really like this light. It is comfortable to wear. It is quite bright, with a very useful diffuse brightness using the LED strip, and reasonable focus using the side mounted spot beam, and while using it in confined spaces like attics and underfloor crawlspaces, the battery lasted long enough to accomplish my task. I look forward to using it on longer duration tasks, but I’m very happy so far.

These are bright, hold charge decently and are fit well to boot. The hands free option to turn on and off the lights is great when skinning a deer or working with both hands. I use mine almost daily and they charge quite fast. Plus you have several light modes making it a quality headlamp for the price. I even bought backups with the big pack.

  5. Negu Nagary

Produto bem construído porém com a bateria totalmente carregada e utilizando a fita de led no brilho máximo ela só durou 55min sendo que aos 30min a iluminação já é bem prejudicada e sendo o carregamento muito demorado.

  6. Ildson

    Ótimo, funciona perfeitamente!

  7. nathan

What a great head lamp. Lightweight, easy to use. Stays in place and is crazy bright. The only issue I have no fault of the design, is that the spot light glares in my glasses. So I have to take my glasses off or turn them away from my line of sight and then they don’t light up what I’m looking at. So if you wear glasses all the time glasses beware. Otherwise they are awesome! I can’t wait to use mine next time I go camping.

So I know there are hundreds of these sold under different brands. Rest assured that these particular lights are solid products. They work great as a work light. They work ok as a headlamp to use while hiking at night.

Using these in an industrial environment, I found them to be indispensable. Water resistant, tough and come with hard hat clips. They will still come off the hard hat despite the clips, but that is not unexpected. These have taken a beating and are cheap enough that you will not be upset if it gets stolen or damaged.

My buddies liked it so much I ordered some for them too. Did I mention they are very inexpensive. Cheap enough that you can give them away and not be out of much money.

  9. Duhuh

Ordered this 3 pack of led light bands to use for a working in garage. Two of the 3 were dead on arrival. On one I plugged it in to charge and the green light came on which should be charged. It’s dead and the green light will not go off. Another turned on so I plugged it in to charge and it wouldn’t start charging. Now it won’t do anything. One did charge but I doubt that it will last. I like the idea and they seem to be designed well but 1 working light out of 3 is unacceptable. Update – this company reached out to me about these lights and they sent me another set of lights. These 3 are all working. I will change my review because they are bright and will be a help in my garage. Good company service. Thanks
