I liked the brightness of the light, light weight
I use it to stitch my cross stitch

The white light is very bright. If I have a chance of facing someone I will generally just use the red night-vision-preserving light because the full brightness of the white LED, even on low setting, is quite bright. It is comfortable and works well.

Small, easy to use, gets in a pocket. Highly recommended, used for camping.

Vekkia Ultra Bright LED Headlamp is a good piece of equipment. I like that it runs on regular batteries and does not need a charging source or cords. The red light is a great bonus. Much better for many night activities. Excellent when riding horses at night.

My goal for this is for night photography, for setting up my shooting site and the camera settings. Everything worked as said. The two levels of white light are very nice, but wish the red also had two solid options. There is only one level, and then strobing. This is the only thing so far that I wish were different, but it will work fine. The headband is soft and comfortable, and easy to adjust. The best option is the multiple angles you can adjust the lamp to, from facing out straight, to pointing towards the ground. These lights will blind another person, for sure!

I’ve used this almost exclusively for astrophotography, often around others who need to maintain night vision. So red light ONLY almost all the time. It’s good in that it’s bright enough to do my work without being so bright as to bother others. Most other red headlamp lights I’ve seen are just TOO bright to be a good neighbor.
It easily adjusts to point down about 45 degrees, so it’s pointed to where I usually need it and not pointed right into other people eyes. Powered by three AAA batteries, it lasts a long time: several evenings or full nights of non-constant usage.
My minor nits with the design are that the white light button and the red are right next to each other and feel the same, so until you are used to it, it’s possible to make a very rude mistake and mess up you neighbor’s night vision. I’ve even gone as far as covering the white bulbs with electrical tape. But then when you’re alone and need white light that’s not a good solution. Now I’m just very careful to push the correct button.
The other annoying thing is that you have to cycle through the flashing red light cycle to get to off. Over years I’ve never needed flashing and wish I could defeat it completely. On the white side you have to cycle through a dimmer setting and then flashing to get to off. These are only minor annoyances, however.
Overall I recommend this for astrophotography folks. I just bought a second one I can use as a spare, or to share.

I like the simplicity. The buttons are easy to use and the modes work as they should be expected to

I took this tough little light on the trail in the Adirondacks with a group of more seasoned hikers who had way more expensive headlamps. We were coming down from the Algonquin peak way too late in the day (not my fault, by the way!) in the pouring rain, in pitch black conditions, slipping and sliding along the muddy rocks of the creek that masqueraded as a trail. Conditions were COLD, WET, and MISERABLE, but I have to tell you that this light was up to the task! It was WAY brighter than the other headlamps,, super comfortable to wear, and lasted for hours with still more battery life at the end of the three-day hike. I loved the fact that it tilted at my feet (and stayed in place!) so I wouldn’t slip to my death on the rocks (and this is not much of an exaggeration). The main light has three settings, (super) bright, dim(mer, but still bright!) and blinking (which I contemplated using so someone would come rescue me from my misery!). The red light is also very bright and can be set to steady or flashing. It was perfect for getting up in the middle of the night at camp. The housing is hard plastic and stood up very well to the rain. The elastic is very durable and the buttons worked well with no issues. I was VERY pleased with this product. My hiking brothers were so proud of their super expensive, top-O’-the-line gear, but I was even prouder of this inexpensive but incredibly durable and super functional product. I highly recommend it, not just for budget-conscious weekend warrior backpackers like myself, but for anyone who wants a great headlamp!
