    Honestly worked like a charm, once you turn it left till it clicks then tighten it, 0 leaks whatsoever. the 2.5L hydration pack left me with ample amount of water, always had leftover water even after 8-10 hours at EDC. Looks cool and lots of space for whatever you need in the compartments. Still has a plastic taste but it’s minimal, would still highly suggest.

    I use this when I hike/snowboard and I love it. However when I snowboard its easy for the water to freeze in the tube if its really cold outside.
    It has 2 pockets that can hold all my necessities. Consistently clean the waterbag so your water does not taste rubbery.

    After countless falls, trips and scrapes I am happy to say that this Camelbak is HEAVY MTB approved. I have soaked this in mud, I have ran this over, I have even left this in the sun and it still looks brand new! I take this mountain biking about 3 times a week.

    Pockets! I love the pockets…. I keep my keys, Phone and wallet in my Camelbak and despite the torture I put this thing thru my stuff is usually very dry (as long as you don’t bike into a lake)

    I drink lots of water when I bike and rarely drink the whole 85oz of water. I even put ice cubes in my Camelbak which keeps my water cool for around an hour in mild temperatures.

    If I could complain about anything it would be the handles on the zipper. I would appreciate a longer handle so I can more easily reach it while I am riding. I can still reach it while biking but it takes most of my concentration to do so.

    Living in North Carolina, I have thousands of miles of mountain bike trails throughout the state and the one thing I never want to be without is water. When I first started riding, I tried taking a single water bottle, only to drink it all in less than an hour on hot summer days.

    Cutting your ride short because you run out of water is never fun, and I felt it was time to get serious and invest in a hydration pack. CamelBak is a brand that has been around since 1988, and they are known for making packs specifically for mountain biking.

    The CamelBak Rogue is the one I went with and have used it on every ride I’ve been on since it arrived.

    The CamelBak Rogue features an 85oz reservoir, Leak-Proof On/Off Valves, a top zippered pocket, and a bottom pocket perfect for your car keys, a multi-tool, or anything else you need to carry that’s small.

    The back flap lifts up to expose the hydration bladder which features a large cap that CamelBak touts as an “Easy-Open Leak-Proof Cap.” They claim, “it is redesigned for easier refilling and seals shut in just a few twists.”

    Even though CamelBak claims it’s made for easier refilling and shuts better, I found that not to be the case. I typically fill the bladder by using a refrigerator and with the way it’s positioned it almost always makes a mess.

    The plastic around the cap is so large that it makes it challenging to unpress the water dispenser, so it stops before spilling water outside the hole. The leak-proof cap is also not as _easy_ as they claim. Because it shuts in just a few twists, you have to be very careful to get the threads lined up; otherwise, it will leak. I caused a few messes for this very reason.

    Everything from the fabric, to the stitching, is solid, and the Rogue is a sturdy pack. After a year of heavy use, it’s held up surprisingly well even with all the mud rides. Another nice feature is the hydration bladder is removable, and the outside is washable. That is great for keeping it clean and keeping those nasty smells from riding in the hot sun away.

    The bite valve is large comes with a locking mechanism so you can be certain no water will spill out. Without it in the lock position water will come out even while riding, so I leave mine in the locked position until I’m ready for a drink.

    I find the tube that runs from the bladder to the valve to be extremely long. I’m a short guy at 5’5″ and at times I’ve wanted to cut part of the hose off just so I didn’t have to keep stuffing the excess back into the pouch.

    As I mentioned earlier I’ve used this pack for every ride and having it with me is part of my routine. I’ve done everything from three to four hour-long rides to quick 3 milers at lunch, and it performs excellently. I’ve even taken a few hard falls and even lightly separated my shoulder while wearing this pack and it still feels as solid as the first day I tried it.

    Overall I do recommend the CamelBak Rogue hydration pack, and I wouldn’t hesitate to tell anyone to get this pack. I would, of course, mention that they should look out for the cap and to be sure they have it threaded correctly, but otherwise it’s a great hydration pack.

    Pros:
    * Cost
    * Quality Construction
    * Easy to use bite valve

    Cons:
    * Filler cap needs more threads
    * Long Hose

    ハイドレーションパックとしてはキャメルバックなので当然良いです。スモールパーツ、携帯工具、財布、カギ、携行食程度が入る程度の控えめな収納が重宝します。極力ミニマムに、でも必要最小限度は持ちたいという方、ゲレンデDHやガイド付きトレイルでの使用にはピッタリです。

    3 things were changed from the older style besides a larger water storage.
    1, the angle of the water valve is no longer at a 45 degree angle, 🙁
    2, the cover latch (what holds it closed) over the water storage is now just cloth, use to have a hard piece of plastic holding it closed 🙁
    2, the water fill cap is 10 times better than the old style, which is more important to me than the other 2 combined 🙂
    Still a great product for short rides.
    I use my Mule for longer rides.

    works as advertised. I have several of these and love them.

    A lot of reviews talk about leaking; as long as you don’t overfill it you will not have a problem. You can still fill it with a good amount of water. I love my camelbak. I struggle with kidney stones so I use this around the house as well as out and about. My kids want one now.

    The trick to keeping this from leaking is to turn the disc counter clockwise and then clockwise. Otherwise, it will leak. It’s the right size for a 3 hour ride in the desert.

    Per quanto riguarda Amazon, massima efficienza nella spedizione, arrivato il giorno dopo. Lo zainetto della camelbak modello rogue è un giusto compromesso tra ridotte dimensioni e capacita di contenere diversi oggetti, come documenti, barrette energetiche, attrezzature per riparare le forature, il cellulare, un kway e un tool di brugole. Considerata anche la comodità della sacca d’acqua. Per cui lo reputo un ottimo prodotto ad un prezzo giusto, e poi camelbak è un marchio di garanzia in questo settore. Consigliatissimo per chi fa mtb.

    I am giving the Camelbak Rogue a true rating of 4.5 because 4 is too low and 5 is too high. Overall a great pack. Nice quality and lots of areas to store the phone, wallet, energy bars etc. You can even store things behind the bladder area from the top of the pack. The bladder has a thick handle you can lift up while filling and the opening is wide enough so you do not spill your water and ice while filling. This allows me to be hands free which is great.

    The issue is the drinking tube. The tube has a rubber tip that you have to bite and slurp like a straw to get your water. The tube also has an easy to use shut off valve as well to stop the flow of water. I find the rubber tip to be too much work, awkward and the water flow is poor. I don’t want to work to get water when I need it. The fix is to take a razor blade and cut the rubber tip off up to the point where the hard plastic starts. The shut off valve is right by the tip. Have it to off until drinking time then flip it on. The result is lots of easy flowing water.
