These are super soft and comfortable shorts. Very loose, very breathable and very lightweight easy moving flexible stretchy material. Not cotton, definitely a jersey mesh-like fabric, which is exactly what I wanted. Take a pair of basketball shorts and make them look like the 80’s but feel like the 2010’s.

I like shorter shorts, and I find these just in the right length. They feel good. Do not know about their quick drying but am guessing based on the fabric that they will dry quickly. I have ordered both the grey and black, multiples of each. The only thing I do not like is the bulky white tie rope, but that is easily rectified by replacing. I ordered my normal size of medium but it was a bit too large for me, so went with the small. Definitely worth trying out. Highly recommend.

I knew that these would be a 3 inch inside seam length. Over the years the shortest I have gone to is 4 inches for running shorts. The styling is very 70’s retro and so is the fabric. There is something to be said about shorter running shorts as they can be undeniably more comfortable for longer runs such as 10k plus. I sometimes get chafing between the tops of my thighs and usually wear compression shorts to avoid the rubbing. That being said these were really not that comfortable for me. I went for an hours run today and felt that these rode up and actually caused more rubbing and problems. I just didn’t feel comfortable at all, and I was very distracted. I’m glad I wore a jock under these as regular briefs would have caused some serious problems down stairs. I don’t think these are really performance wear, more retro novelty and possibly created for really muscular guys to wear to the gym to show off. Unfortunately for me I can’t see myself wearing these again in the future.
