I am a professional auto technician. I’ve bought other headlamps, but this one by far is the best. I’ve owned it for about 6 months now and it gets used daily. There are times I use it all day. The battery power is tremendous and the way the light is diffused makes it perfect for working under cars or dashes where it is dark. There are times I even forget I have it on my head. If your looking for a light to do up close work in dark areas, this is the one.

This may seem like a confused review, mostly because it is. This head lamp is pretty comfortable, though with a 7500mah battery it’s definitely not light weight. It’s extremely bright in the immediate area around you when worn but diffuses quickly. At 5′ it’s like being in a brightly lit room, and at 10′ you can see very well, but after about 15′ you can’t see well at all. One issue I have noticed is that the light seems very bright with glare from your brow that can actually be hard to see past at times especially when angled down. Overall it’s pretty good, battery lasts a very long time, I haven’t had it on more than a few hours but I didn’t put much of a dent in the battery power leaving it on for that 3 or 4 hours. I would like this better if it had a single focused lamp for distance viewing as well as the multi-LED light bar. It certainly has the battery power to support the additional lamp, and as it’s already somewhat heavy for a headlamp the addition wouldn’t cause much extra effort to wear. If you are in a small camp it would be good, and probably ok for walking at night but I would definitely not recommend for use if you need to be able to see further away. But for camp use, or even reading I would definitely recommend. Not reading in bed though as the giant battery pack is directly on the back of your noggin.

Took a 7 hour hike, 4 hours of which were used with this headlamp. The light is bright and crisp, and the massive battery paid off in a huge way on that trip. Easy to pack away.

Use it at work on my Hard Hat. The battery weight isn’t noticeable. Low profile and long battery life.

Keine Empfehlung!

Great head torch. Like the fact there is no “blinking/flashing” mode and ability to tilt the light down so I can see the work I’m doing with my hands.
My (other brand) head torches get damaged in storage, so it’s a great bonus to have a pouch here; unfortunately the strength and quality of the loop broke on day 2 at work. Still use it to protect the head torch, just don’t hang it like in the advertising.

I purchased it to use it on my head, but unfortunately it is too heavy and bulky, and it is not so comfortable on the forehead even if you loose it to the maximum possible.
That’s a shame, because the light is very strong and I used it for hours since I got it and I didn’t even charge it once since then.

I am an electrician, I have jumped from one head lamp brand to another trying to find a type that is bright enough and will last a whole work day. This particular headlamp is by far the best one I have found. It lights up everything in front of me which is great for service calls so I don’t have to drag in a work light. The only negative thing I can say about it is if you’re looking for one with light range like for shooting a beam across a work yard or parking lot, this is not it….it is strictly a flood light. The positive side to that is the fact that I don’t blind customers or coworkers when I talk to them and forget to turn it off. Battery last a good 6.5 to 7.5 hours on high. A standard 8 hour day I do not have it on every minute of every hour so this head lamp lasts me all day. For the price, I bought a second one just so I could have one charge while I use the other and so far it has worked great. I have owned them for about four months and use them at least 5 days a week. Have not had any issues. Would definitely buy again, pretty much this is now my only head lamp and as long as it is still available on Amazon, I will be buying the same replacement if and when my current ones die.

This is a wonderful light useful in many situations indoors and outdoors. But buyers should know that I couldn’t get it to charge with any USB-C to USB-C cables. I found a USB-A to USB-C cable and it worked. I don’t know if it’s the one that came with the lamp or not (it was in a box of cables), but I hope this saves someone else having to find this out by trial and error.

brightest headlamp around town 😛

Needed this for work as I do night shifts on the railways. Doesn’t give a direct beam, but give a fantastic well-lit light spread and rivals any other colleagues light at work! Only issue I have is the large and heavy battery pack; when placed on a hard hat, you can definitely notice the added weight but all in all – a good product!

This headlamp is ideal for a work light. I have not tried it for hiking or running. But, for close work, it works great. I can not speak to the battery life, but a 7500 mAh rechargeable battery should do the job. The battery is at the back which balances the headlamp. The case is also nice for protecting when not in use and clipping to your work bag.

Bought these to replace a different headband design light. Best feature, besides the large power pack and bright diffused light head is the tilt feature on the light head. With standard headband style lights you have to tilt your head down to light up anything below nose level. That’s a pain, especially if you wear progressive lenses and need to be able to read or see fine detail. These have almost 90 degrees of tilt so lighting up details is very easy and comfortable. 3 light settings of very bright that can easily light up a trail when hiking/riding, a dimmer setting that might still be brighter than it needs to be for detail work and a setting that flashes, my unit flashes a Morse code SOS that I hope I never need.
