I used this pack for Angel’s Landing hike it was awesome after I figured out how to unlock the water tube. I have already recommended it to several people.

I spent weeks diligently researching brands and reading Amazon reviews and decided to try this hydration backpack for a trip to Utah over the summer. I am so pleased with it and highly recommend for someone who doesn’t know much about these kinds of supplies (and doesn’t want to spend a lot for an Osprey or something). I spent 10+ hours a day hiking in the desert and had plenty of water in the bladder, with limited need for refills- I was also pretty impressed with how well it kept my water cool after multiple hours out in the sun (and pressed against my sweaty back). The water tube in general is a little bulky and flapped around a bit but I didn’t mind because it worked well, and as someone who likes to chew on water nozzles: this one is top notch.
At full water capacity the backpack is still lightweight and comfortable to wear, with plenty of room to carry snacks, charge packs, chapstick, etc. I was able to use it as my personal item on flights and the bladder is easily tethered and removed for ease of use as a regular pack as well. I usually don’t write Amazon reviews but this one deserves it!

I purchased this for a recent long distance motorcycle trip. The bladder still had ice in it after both trips through the California desert. Each way was around 4 hours so it did perform better than other packs I’ve had in the past. I was optimistic about the statement in the product information regarding the tube keeping the liquid inside of it cool. Reality was repeated mouth full of hot water just bout every time I drank from it. I’m probably going to replace the bladder anyway. The valve might be fine when hiking or something but trying to get a drink at 80 mph proved challenging at times. The valve has to be slid a little to open it and get water them pushed back to close it. This was a huge pain because leaving it open meant where leaked out the whole time. Closing it meant a fight to get it open when I wanted a drink. One good thing is after 4 hours on my back in the sun of Mojave Desert it still had ice in it. After 2 mouth falls of hot water the water was still cold. The harness was beyond excessive in my opinion. It made wearing the pack over a motorcycle jacket really awkward. If I continue using this pack I will definitely need modify the harness. It’s not like a backpacking frame that you need to distribute the weight down to your hips. There is no need for lower connection but leaving it open in my case would mean a plastic connector blowing around at 80 mph. Probably result in a few welts at least.but

Use this on my 1st hike in Georgia. I was so greatful my water was cool. Don’t forget to take in to account the weight of the water. The extra 5lbs matters going up hill!

Material is soft making it comfortable compared to harder materials. Has enough pockets. Not heavy.
Only slight problem is the chest belt , it seats a bit lower so for women it not so comfortable on the chest. Could be better it it was higher up.
Otherwise, nice product.
Will update after use

I took this camel backpack for a 16 miles hike and it did not disappoint, plenty of room for a small first aid kit, flashlights, 3L of water, snacks, protein shakes, layers (clothe) hat, power bank and some other small items and looks like nothing ever happened to it, I wish it had a few more loops where to hang things and the fabric on the zippers where sewn together but overall it’s a nice backpack, way more practical than bringing a water bottle. It also fits collapsible trekking poles😄

I don’t write many product reviews but this insulated pack is everything I could ask for. The large mouth made it easy to fill or add ice cubes and the outlet for the hose at the top of the strap is the perfect placement. There are zipper pockets in both sides of the lower back straps and a roomy insulated pocket on the front. It fits comfortably and the mouthpiece is easy to access. It’s an extremely well made product and worth the money.
